Obituary of Dino Angelo Olivier

It is with great sadness the Olivier family announces the passing of Dino Angelo Olivier on Thursday, July 7th, 2011 at Parkwood Hospital. Born in Volpago del Montello, Italy in 1926, Dino made his home in Canada from 1950 - 2011. He leaves behind his loving family. Beloved husband of Maria for 54 years. Adored father of Carla (Dr. Rene Martin), and Sonia (Todd Parker). Cherished Nonno of Christina, Paula, Lisa and Brent. Fondly remembered by sister Ida and brother Tony from Argentina and predeceased by sister Iolanda. A heartfelt thank you for the wonderful care and support received from the CCAC P.S.W.’s, the CCAC Palliative team, the staff at Parkwood Palliative and the ALS Society. Special thanks to nurses P.J., Mary Kathy, Virgi and Becky. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Sunday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, on Monday, July 11th, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at St. Peter’s Holy Family Chapel Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to the ALS Society would be appreciated.
