Obituary of Geertje Veenstra (Eizinga)

Passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord, at her residence on Tuesday, July 5th, 2011, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Geert “George” Veenstra. Loving mother of Wes Veenstra (Jeannette) of London and Grace Jenkins (Mark) of London. Dear grandmother of Michelle, Ashleigh, Tim, Ben, Katie and Emily. Dear sister of Ann Van Helvoort (Jos) of St. Thomas and sister-in-law of George Dykhuis (Marion). Dear Beppe of the Jenkins, Craigs and Kelly families. Predeceased by her loving sister Martha Dykhuis. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Oakridge Presbyterian Church, 970 Oxford Street West, London, on Friday, July 8th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment, Elmdale Memorial Park Cemetery, St. Thomas.
