On behalf of the administration and staff of Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School, I would like to send our deepest condolences on the passing of Art. For so many years, Art has presented the Royal Canadian Legion Art Purchase Award to a graduating student, and has received the student's work of art to display in the Legion. We have always considered him 'our ' soldier, and will miss him so very much at next year's graduation ceremony. Our thoughts and sympathies are with all of Art's family at this very difficult time.
