On behalf of my family I wish to pass on my deepest condolences to Judy and all family members. Ned and I first met at Camp Barriefield, Kingston (the old RCEME School), 1966. Throughout the years our paths and postings crossed six different occasions, always with a litre or two, rejoicing and reminicing. The last time I had the ""HONOUR of NED'S COMPANY''" was at my nephews wedding David and Robin Elliott in Sterling, Ontario. The same table if you can imagine. Ned always jokingly referred to me as the Rookie, as he had one year up on me from his Aussie Service, his 39 to my 38, both retiring in 1996. An "" AUSSIE PINT to you MATE"". ARTE et MARTE.
