Obituary of Elizabeth Gribskov
Bettie was born in Junction City, Oregon to Peter and Hanna Skovbo. She graduated from Junction City High School. She married Ivan Gribskov on November 14, 1944. They lived a long and happy life, giving birth to three children, three grandchildren and three great- grandchildren. Bettie loved her flowers, her travel, the Pacific Ocean and most of all, her many beloved friends. She was known for her quick wit and her willingness to help when someone was in need. Nothing filled her soul more than camping with her kids in her later years. Bettie died after saying her goodbyes to her children and two of her grandchildren. She is survived by children Cheryl (Frank Masser), Pam Jensen (Mary Jacka) and Pete (Laurie Swanson Gribskov). She is also survived by her grandchildren Cheryl Snow, Kristina and Erik, and great grandchildren Kathryn, Aaron and Ethan Snow. She is preceded in death by her husband Ivan and brothers Alvin, Ingvard and Einar Skovbo. Per Bettie’s request, there will be no memorial service.
