We wish to express our deepest sympathy to Sylvia's family. For over twenty years I taught in Sylvia's History Department. Her dedication to History as a subject of study along with her interest in the welfare of her students was an inspiration to all who had the opportunity to know her. Sylvia spent her time wisely and lived her life well.
