Obituary of Rebecca Scarola

Rebecca Sue Scarola passed away the morning of October 18th, peacefully, and surrounded by loving family and friends. Rebecca was born June 21, 1956, in Burbank, California. Her parents, James and JoAnn Henry, raised her and her five brothers in the Oregon City area. She attended Oregon City HighSchool. She studied Biology at Linn-Benton Community College. She worked for the University of Oregon for over a decade, but most recently, was a successful real estate agent in the Portland and Eugene areas.Rebecca married the love of her life, her soul mate, Michael, in 1990. Their love and friendship truly had no match. Rebecca was a loving mother to her children, and an amazing, devoted grandmother to her seven grandchildren. Rebecca loved to laugh. She had a beautiful smile that filled up and brightened any room. She was a kind soul and a true friend. Rebecca enjoyed dancing, being outdoors, playing softball, and the company of her friends and family. She was a beacon to others in need of help and an avid animal lover.Rebecca is survived and will be missed by her husband Michael, her parents Jim & JoAnn Henry, her four brothers, and her children: Kristin and her husband Alex, Mikael, Ahlum and his wife Cara, and Evan and his wife Jessie. Her legacy continues in her seven grandchildren, who she cherished as her most precious gems. Her beautiful memory will live on in all of our hearts.
