Obituary of Isabelle Doreen Beeson
Isabelle Doreen Beeson (McKay), of London, in her 90th year, passed away on April 24th, 2011, at the McCormick Home. She was born in Scarborough, daughter of the late Clifton McKay and Mabel (Johnson) McKay, and step-daughter of the late William Brown. Beloved wife of Edward G. Beeson (March 29, 2008). She is survived by two daughters: Norma Jean LeLacheur, of Nova Scotia and Dianne Beeson, of London, and by her son Edward, and his wife Pamela, of Nova Scotia. Loving Grandmother of Ed, Michelle, Melanie, Mark, Rob, Angie and Patrick; Great Grandmother of Sarah, Christopher, David, Amber, Nick, Donald and Annorah; Great-great Grandmother of Mason and Ethan. Survived by her three younger brothers: Gordon, William, and Douglas (Pamela) Brown. Predeceased by sisters Jean Ludlow, Florence Hartman and by brother Stewart Brown. Isabelle enjoyed many hours playing the organ or piano, writing poetry, knitting for everyone and making cards. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Thursday from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, April 29th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Anne’s Anglican Church, 1344 Commissioners Road West with Rev. Canon Janet Lynall officiating. Interment, Mount Pleasant Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Isabelle’s memory to Parkwood Hospital Veteran’s Wing would be appreciated.
