Condolences sent to the family of Mrs. Daley. She taught me typing T Norwell and one was one of my favourite teachers at that time. Fondly remember those days when it was an electric model. The typing skill was used daily during my working years and even today on the computers. Thinking fondly of her. She will be missed.

I was just thinking of Mrs. Daley a few days ago. She taught me bookkeeping at Norwell in the early 70s and was one of the best teachers I ever had. I will miss her. I will never forget her letting us listen to one of the 1972 Canada Russia hockey games from Russia on the radio

Enjoying tea with Isabel was something I always looked forward to. Loved her stories and humor, wisdom and strength. I would usually look through her pile of books for a new novel that caught my eye. Id often leave carrying a scrap of paper with authors and titles scribbled, plans to find them at the library. I miss her dearly, and the whole ELDER family from Ayton send our sympathies as well.

Dear Sherry and Jim and family, Tom and Linda and family. I am sorry to hear of the passing of your mom, our Aunt Isabel. She was a touchstone of the Daley family, and a wonderful aunt to myself and so many cousins. She was always available to listen and provide wise wisdom and humour to all that came to her. She was an inspiration to so many and a compassionate and caring person with a gift of insight. She will be remembered by the life she lived, she will be missed. Please accept our sympathy from me and family.

Thinking of you all at this time. I was very fortunate to have met Auntie Bell from my best friend Kato. We had visited her and Uncle Joe years ago at their farm. I also got to introduce her to my 2 children with a visit with Kato in London. Thank you to the Thompson family for introducing such a lovely lady to me. Enjoy a cup of tea with Mrs. T and say hello to her and Joe. You will be missed by many....hugs xox Cathy and family

I was in Mrs. Daley’s grade nine typing class ad later accounting. She was my favourite teacher in high school. I would arrive at school early by bus and like several other students, the time before 9:00 was spent in her classroom chatting with her. It was a very cheery way to start the day. She was interested in each of us and positive in her responses to us. I chose to go to Vancouver to study and she was always supportive of me. When I came home to visit family I always visited her, she would insist on serving me lunch and we would have a good catch up talk. I stayed in Vancouver, working, marrying and raising children. We stayed in touch and I continued to visit her when home with first my husband, and then my kids. She became Isabel to me. We always got a warm welcome, and more lunches. She was an avid reader and encouraged my children in their reading. She was always interested in my children as she was in me for all of these years. Isabel was a very special person, I feel so lucky to have had her in my life. Like everyone who knew and loved her I will miss her very much. My condolences to all of her family and friends. My sincerest condolences to Sherry, Tom, and family members, Isabel was such a happy and popular person with so many friends, and I think this is a reflection of her kindness toward others, her desire to maintain lifelong friendships with people of all ages, but also her knack to somehow remember everything going on in everyone's lives, which was amazing. I cherished the time I spent with Isabel and she will be greatly missed.
