Bob, I have no words that can come close to expressing my feelings, knowing you have gone on your journey to the other side. You were such a kind, compassionate, considerate and selfless man. Your love for your family was a love they will carry with them into many tomorrows. Your strength gave us strength as your life’s journey shortened but yet that smile never diminished. You never put yourself first no matter how good or how bad the days played out. All you wanted was smiles not tears and we will all stay strong together knowing that you are watching over us……………until we meet again. Love Linda and Lindsey Findlay

Uncle Bob, the circle of love around you is big and far-reaching because of who you were and all those you have touched. I remember our long talks, your thoughtful insight and advice, going back many years...and trying to one-up you on the jokes (I never could - you even did the accents!) - Karen Aunt Sue, Steve, Chris and Family, our hearts break for you, our thoughts are with you, and we send you all our love and support.

Dad I am incredibly proud and overwhelmed by how many people you have influenced in your lifetime. You have shown me how to be the son, father, husband, friend and person that I want to be. I will miss you and will continue to hold onto your strengths and values. I am broken now but I know you will pick me up when I am ready. This is not goodbye, it's see you later Dad. I love you. To everyone- I cannot thankyou enough for your kind words and thoughts for us. I think of all of you and hope you stay safe and look forward to meeting and sharing your memories of such great times we had with dad. Happy to meet, sorry to part, happy to meet again. Chris

Papa I miss you incredibly already but I know you are at peace and having a blast on that boat with Uncle Jerry that grandma never wanted you to get, while smiling and watching down on us all. You were such a compassionate, generous, joyful and all around amazing man. You were the best grandpa to Syd, Chase and I and we are so grateful for everything you did for us over the years. You stayed so strong and did so good, that amazing smile gave all of us strength right up until your last breath and we cannot thank you enough. I miss all of your stories and jokes that you loved to tell and our conversations that could’ve went on forever. Papa, you touched so many people throughout your lifetime and the amount of support around grandma and the family is unbelievable. I will do my best to make you even more proud of me than you already are and I’m sure grandma, Uncle Steve, Dad, Shan, Chase and Syd will do the same. Live it up, up there... until we meet again papa, I love you. See you again, D

I met Bob when he owned Mr. Beer on Dundas St. ''Come brew with Uncle Bob.'' What a great guy he was. Everybody loved him. I even used to bring my young daughter in and he taught her how to make pop. My condolences to his family.
