Milton ‘Milt’ Cumming

Obituary of Milton ‘Milt’ Campbell Cumming

Peacefully at peopleCare Oakcrossing, on Wednesday, March 4, 2020, just days short of his 89th birthday. Beloved husband of Shirley for 67 years. Cherished father of Karen Harrison, Kim Banks (Rick) and Kerri Cumming-Pinder (Bill). Survived by his much-loved granddaughters: Erin (Chris), Kylie (Trent), Briar (Andy), Grace, and Claire; and his treasured grandson Liam. Adored by great-granddaughters Victoria, Vanessa, Violet, Zoe, and Reagan. Predeceased by his parents, Bill and Daisy, and by his brother, Clyde. Missed by his beloved cat, Annie, who enjoyed spending much time with Milt. After his retirement, he was always making and painting furniture, knocking down walls (which he was good at), and drawing. He was competitive with his golfing and curling. Milt spent many years in Florida with his family, and travelled through much of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji, which he was fortunate to cross off his bucket list. A private Celebration of Milt’s Life will be conducted at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Milt are asked to consider Riverside United Church or a charity of your choice.
