Grace was an inquisitive, caring, person. We first got to know her as a nurse, because she looked after our grandfather for many years. Grace loved anything to do with history and the United Empire Loyalists and sported a phenomenal memory. She would share favourite books and send thick letters filled with details of her research, her family, and her travels. Visiting with her here in Kingston and spending many Christmases with her in London, she was part of the family, like a cherished aunt to me and a grandmother to my son, Ted.
