My family and I have known Matt since he was a young boy in public school as he was a good friend to my Daughter Alicia. He had a lot of loss in his lifetime from loosing his mother and then his father. Watching him grow into a young man that his parents would be proud of was a truly beautiful site. Seeing him start cadets and then going straight into the military made me so proud of him. He always tried his hardest and I considered him to be apart of our family. He always made time to visit my daughters and us when he came to London for a visit. He always had a smile and was so happy to help in any way he could. The time we had with him was always welcomed and looked forward to. There is so many memories, pictures of him during his time in cadets, visits and even the excitement of his Wedding to Elysia! I’d never seen him happier then that day he married her! He found the one as he said to me! We will cherish our time with him always and he will always be in our hearts. He was a true friend, leader and we’ve all lost a great man! Chris and Elysia, know that he was loved by many and he will always be in your hearts, soul and memories.
