Obituary of Elizabeth Anne Kerr (McKillop)

At Parkwood Hospital on Thursday, April 7th, 2011, Elizabeth Anne Kerr, of London, in her 71st year. Very Loving Mother to John (Pam), Margaret, Vivian and Robert. Loving Wife of the late Harry Kerr. Visitation will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday from 8:30-9:30 a.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Saturday, April 9th, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Cremation and interment of ashes at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Elizabeth are asked to consider the Canadian Cancer Society. In tears we saw you sinking We watched you fade away Our hearts were almost broken You fought so hard to stay God saw you getting tired When a cure was not to be So he closed his arms around you And whispered come to me Your golden heart stopped beating Your gentle hands are at rest God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the very best But when we saw you sleeping So peacefully free from pain We could not wish you back To suffer that again.
