I am saddened to hear of Tony’s passing. I knew him well in our high school years. He was always quick with a joke, kind, and so very talented. For him to be gone so young is a true tragedy. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Thanks for always being in some band I wanted to make so I could perform at school, Tony. You were the best drummer, and a good friend to me when I knew you.

So very sad to hear this news. Tony was a wonderful friend during our high school days. A true gentleman with a huge heart. Wonderfully talented and family oriented. I fondly remember and loved band practice at his parents home and of course watching some habs games with he and his parents.

I am shocked and saddened to hear this news. Tony and I worked at Victoria Hospital in different lab departments that shared an equipment room. We ran into each other quite often there and shared opinions about motorcycle accessories we had just bought or were planning on buying, where the best roads were for bike trips, and shop talk about how fast our lab technology was evolving. He was quite a character, had a great sense of humor, and I am sure he will be missed by all who knew him.

I am sadden by the knowledge of Tony's passing. I knew him well in high school. Fond memories of music his amazing drumming skills, long talks setting up friends, what he called Tony braids which was basically putting knots in my hair and his good natured teasing. Although I have only seen him sporadically these later years he always greeted with a smile and a hug. Big hugs and love go out to him and his family. My deepest sympathies.

My deepest condolences to the Augustine Family. Tony was a kind, caring person who you could always count on. An avid motorcyclist who would hop on the bike any chance he got. Not to mention, A loving son who took great care of his parents. He had many ambitions and may skills. He was a drummer, a pilot, a total rockstar! Tony, you were taken way too soon brother. I pray your soul rests in peace. I will cherish the memories we had as little boys riding our bicycles to grown ups riding our motorcycles; to meeting for sushi with Rob and Hank, which was always full of laughs. Till we meet again Brown Sugar.

I haven't spoken to Tony in years. But when I was finishing high school, and for a few years afterward, Tony was one of my closest friends. He, myself, and a few others spent hours and hours playing cards, hanging out, partying, talking. One of those others was Steve Berry, who we also lost recently. I looked up to Tony. He was a couple of years older, but it was more than that. He was so cool! Talented and adventurous, but also generous. He loved sharing his talents and adventurous spirit with friends. Whether it was marveling at his drumming, or riding shotgun in his cool black little Celica (as he cooly managed the stick shift), or taking you up in your first and only ride in a Cessna and allowing you the thrill of holding the controls (and topping it off with some stomach dropping "touch and go" maneuvers), or just how impossibly good he was at being a Dungeon Master, Tony was just so darn cool to be around! He was also very kind, and the type of guy you could open up to when you needed to. I regret not staying in touch, but I'm grateful for having known you Tony. My condolences to your family and friends.

I still remember the day I interviewed Tony for his job at Zellers. It felt like I had knew him for so many years already, as I had the opportunity to work with his brother Andrew at Zellers previously. Tony was so easy to talk too and get along with, not only was he a co worker but great friend, I still remember the time he volunteered at the airshow and complained about his sunburn, we laughed so hard when I said I think your pulling my leg, you just want the day off work , he said trust me I am really burnt. Anyone who had the pleasure of having Tony as a friend in their life was truly blessed. Rest in Peace my dear friend. I will forever cherish all the laughs we had back in the day. Sending warm wishes to all of Tony's family.

I remember when we first met, making Pasta at a mutual friends house, that was to be first of many dinners we shared. Halloween scary houses, I don’t remember what made me jump more the Ghouls or You. We laughed so much, we cried. Our CSI nights, I’ll always think of you when I watch that show. I helped you decorated for Christmas, although you were not sure. I think you liked it!!!!! You were an amazing cook, think you got that from your Mum. (Mom). You always brought jokes and happiness in any situation to everyone around you. My sincere condolences to your Mom and Dad and Family. I will miss you beyond words. Your Wing Woman.

I'm so saddened to hear of Tony's passing. I met Tony 2006 or so when we were both taking the lab assistant program at Medix and both eventually worked in the labs at LHSC. I can hear Tony's laugh in my head right now! I will always remember his cheerful and friendly nature. He was just such a nice guy! Although we worked in different labs it was always a nice surprise to run into each other somewhere around Tim Hortons lol and catch up. And his Facebook posts about delicious foods and motorcycle adventures and his family were always enjoyed. I'll miss seeing you Tony. I pray that you are in perfect peace. My deepest sympathies and prayers of comfort to the Augustine family and friends.

My sincerest condolences to the Augustine family! Tony, you were taken far too soon! I can still hear your laugh down the halls of Holy Rosary School! Your smile brightened up the room! Such a true gentleman! Although we may have drifted away after high school, you were never forgotten, and now that the Lord has taken you home, you will never be forgotten, but cherished in our hearts forever. I count myself incredibly lucky to have known Tony. I regret we didn’t keep in close contact after high school because he was a dude worth knowing; one of the best really. My 2 favourite memories of him was the one time he tried very patiently to teach me the basics of drumming which I failed miserably and the Sunday afternoon after play rehearsal doing donuts in the RMC parking lot; care free, laughing uncontrollably. Tony had a way of making people feel so special and appreciated. My only hope is that he realized how special he was to us. Love you Tony. Thanks for the memories xo

I only recently heard of Tony's passing and, as many are, I am deeply saddened to get this news. Although we lost touch after our school years I have great memories of time spent with Tony and his family. Playing Dungeons and Dragons on summer nights in his garage until 5AM, family barbeques where all were invited to bring instruments and play music while his parents fed the army that arrived, among many other great memories. The Tony I remember fondly and admired was fearless and enjoyed life tot he fullest. I send my deepest condolences to his family
