Obituary of Mary Louise Caya

Mary Caya of Eugene, Oregon passed away on November 10, 2014 at the age of 92. She was born on August 1, 1922 in Goldendale, Washington to Irving and Mary (Coffield) Bath.Mary attended the University of Oregon for two years. She married Harold M. Caya October 4, 1947 in Portland, Oregon.She served in the U.S. Marine Corp during WWII serving our country as a Clerk and Administrator. She later was a member of Marine Corps League of Women Legion Aux #3.Mary worked as a writer and tax aide for American Association of Retired Persons and volunteered at Adult Leader for Young Marines and Shiba Health Insurance Benefits Assistance.She is survived by her son Jeffrey M. Caya of Eugene, Oregon, three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.Mary always looked forward to regular visits from her favorite dog, Benje at Farmington Square, whom she had a close bond with.She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, and two brothers, Gordon and Irving Bath Jr.Mary will be laid to rest at Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, Oregon.
