After the war, Ken served in the Army Militia for 13 years, in #9 Sigs. Unit. He was again a very active “ham” enjoying his conversations with people all over the world. In recent years he was limited to on air friendships with local “hams”. For many years his favourite pastime was sailing, mainly at Goderich, and the past 20 years Ken and Hilda enjoyed weekly square and round dancing, as well as travelling to Canadian Conventions from coast to coast. He was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Byron branch. Sincere thanks to Dr. W. McKeough for his outstanding care and compassion, and his great sense of humour. Many thanks also to Susan (St. Elizabeth Health Care) for her exceptional care and cheery attitude which brightened Ken’s days.
