Kathy's passing is a huge loss for all of us who had the privilege of knowing her. She has been a wonderful friend and I will always cherish the moments we spent together. We bonded at a time that our mothers were in the same home during the last years of their lives. I will always be grateful that Kathy helped me through the tough times with her thoughtfulness, honesty and humour. In those moments when we got to know each other and since that time, I so enjoyed hearing about Kathy's love for her dear Andrea and Lee and their families. It was very touching to watch them and her devoted Norm and step family surround Kathy with their love as they sadly faced her pending death. May we all find strength in the memories she leaves behind.

Our deepest sympathy goes out to you and your family at this time of your loss in Kathy.On Weds evening we were to dinner with Barney, uncle Barneys son, Tim and Alexis , uncle Charlies son and as we talked about our cousins, Kathys name came up and we said she was gravely ill. It is always a great loss as we lose one of our family members that our grandparents and parents so dearly loved.Our prayers are with you and your family.

I am an RN who has worked on 6th floor University Campus, LHSC since 1979. Kathy was an amazing secretary for Dr McKenzie.Her door was always open to assist us and she worked behind the scenes for the benefit of each patient. Kathy was such a wonderful and awesome lady! She was so strong; a true Wonder Woman! I am so thrilled that I had the pleasure of knowing her and working with her for the past few years.
