Obituary of Jim Hassan

HASSAN, Jim – An ordinary man who did extraordinary things. Loved by all. Peacefully and surrounded by family at University Hospital in his 65th year of a beautiful life. Survived by devoted wife Janis of 43 years. Loving children Jimeelie (Jeff), Jennifer (Kevin), Janeen (Rob), Alec (Jocelyn). Beloved granddaughters Sydney and Sophie. Mother Suhyla, sister Mary, brothers David (Afeefe), Ed (Jenan), brothers-in-law Joseph (Irene), Michael (Joyce), Raymond (Heather), nieces and nephews. Predeceased by father Ahmed, sister Norma (Rafaat), brothers Alec and Onwer, mother-in-law Hannah, sister-in-law Sylvia. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Jim’s favorite charity – The Hemophilia Society. There will be a Celebration of Life at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Wednesday, March 9th from 2 – 4 p.m.
