Obituary of Sarah Smith

SMITH, Sarah – Peacefully at home in the loving arms of her family, 8 year old Sarah Conway Smith passed away on March 1st, 2011 after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer. Loving daughter of Russell and Sue, and also loved by her big sister Jillian. Cherished granddaughter of Brian and Dinah Smith and the late Roy and Maureen Carrigan. Dear niece of Andrew, Phillippa and Brock, Paul and Dawn, Debbie and Will. Fun-loving cousin of Jonathan, Cole, Max, Mitchell, Ian, Samantha, Christopher and Megan. A family-friendly memorial celebration will be held for Sarah at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Tuesday, March 8th, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make a donation in memory of Sarah are asked to consider Childcan or “The Sarah Smith Fund” in support of the Brain Tumour Research Centre at SickKids. “We will always believe in Sarah”
