Obituary of Elaine Wooden

Thank you for joining us in remembrance of Elaine Kay Wooden, who passed away November 11th, 2014.Elaine was born to Edward Norman and Kmina Kordillia Wooden in Fontana, California on June 19th, 1951. She is survived by her sister Marie Abernathy, her brother Roland Wooden, her two sons, and three beloved grandsons. Elaine raised two children alone in Southern California, then retired from her career with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in 2005. She moved to Oregon in 2008 to be closer to her family. After being married twice, she savored and enjoyed the independence of living alone. Her joys in life included growing plants, feeding and watching birds, and spending time with her friends and grandchildren. She loved being able to help where and when she could. She will be greatly missed and fondly remembered.
