At Chelsey Park Retirement Home on Wednesday, February 9th, 2011, Mrs. Jean (Smith) Bakkenes of London and formerly of Toronto in her 87th year. Wife of the late Dick Bakkenes (2003). Loving Mother of Ken and his wife Margaret. Beloved Grandmother of Kristin (Clé) Darsaut; and David all of London. Dear sister of Barbara Paris (Gerry) of Nanaimo, B.C. and Douglas Smith (Doris) of Clarksburg, ON. Cremation has taken place. A private family memorial service will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL. Interment of ashes at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
