Obituary of Efstathios (Steve) Vouvalidis

Peacefully on Wednesday, February 9th, 2011 at Victoria Hospital in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Tresevgeni (Soula). Devoted father of John and Brenda Vouvalidis and Hellen and Aris Mitsis. Cherished Papou of Ally Vouvalidis, Dimitra and Terry Mitsis. Much loved brother of George and Efrosini Vouvalidis, Stavros and Georgia Vouvalidis, Costa and Maria Vouvalidis, Panagiota and Elias Stathakos, Angela and Gus Sebekos, and Bill Salaris. Brother-in-law of Theodore and Fotoula Giannias, George Giannias, Gus and Matoula Giannias, Voula Kapetaneas, Peter and Katina Giannias, Dina and George Kossivas, Louis and Zoe Giannias, and Anthi and Theodore Servetis. Predeceased by his sister Stella Salaris, brother Dimos Vouvalidis, sister-in-law Katina Giannias, and brother-in-law Alex Kapetaneas. Dearly loved by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. with prayers at 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be conducted at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 131 Southdale Road West, London, on Monday, February 14th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to The Lung Association, Canadian Cancer Society or Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church.
