Obituary of John Robert Ryan

RYAN, John Robert – Suddenly at his residence on Tuesday, February 8th, 2011 in his 61st year. Son of the late John and Ruth Ryan. Beloved partner of Wanda O’Gorman. Proud Dad of Jamie (Tom) Clarke, Johnny Ryan and Erin Ryan. Much loved brother of Maureen Graham, Michael (Angie) Ryan, Ruthanne Scott, Catherine Willems, Janet (Don) Morton, and Patrick (Joanne) Ryan. Loving grandpa of Morgan and Rhys. Sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. John will be fondly remembered by Wanda’s children Chantelle (Andrew) Coulter and Justin (Krist) O’Gorman and grandchildren Liam and Nolan Coulter. Predeceased by his sister Sheila Welsh and brothers-in-law Douglas Meriam, Gary Scott and Gerald Willems. John was a member of the United Union of Postal Workers for over 35 years. He will be especially remembered for his kindness and sense of humor. Cremation has taken place. Memorial service will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Tuesday, February 15th, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Private family interment at Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
