Obituary of Ken Porter

PORTER, Ken – At University Hospital, on Tuesday, February 8th, 2011, Mr. Ken Porter of London and formerly of Iroquois Falls in his 84th year. Husband of the late Mona (McDonagh) Porter and son of the late Amy and Mark Porter. Loving Dad of Michael and his wife Donna of Cochrane, Leslie Smith and her husband Richard of London, Cathy Campbell and her husband Rob of Iroquois Falls and the late Laura Appelt (1992) and her husband Doug of Timmins. Exceptional Poppa of Shari (Chris Jackman), Ashley Appelt, Alexander Smith and Heather Smith and the late Kyle (Punky) Appelt. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Thursday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. with prayers being held at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Parish, 777 Valetta Street, London, on Friday, February 11th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
