Dear Pat and family, I so much enjoyed Randy as a co-worker and friend. We had many good times playing Euchre at noon. He had such a unique sense of humour. I have missed him very much at work as have so many others. When one considers the struggle that he went through all his life with this terrible disease he leaves behind a legacy of determination, courage and hope for others who wrestle with cancer. My family's prayers are with you and your family at this very sad time.

Pat, our deepest sympathy to you and your family. Randy was such an incredible person with a silent strength and determination that is truly admirable. We will always remember his quiet giggle, dry sense of humour, and the fun we had on Leathorne playing Euchre at lunch time. He is sadly missed by the Rice family. Pat & Family, my heart goes out to you in this difficult time. I had the privilege of sharing an office and working alongside Randy for over two years. In that time he made an unforgettable impression on both my personal and professional life. Dear Pat and family; We were deeply saddened by the news at the office of Randy's passing. You have a lost a life's partner and companion, and we have lost a friend and valued colleague. His willingness to help each of us out, his sense of humour and his friendship will be sorely missed. We remember meeting the both of you several times at the Dearness Home when his love for his mother was evident in his care and concern. He also had our deep admiration for the way he continued to live life to the fullest in spite of all the challenges which he faced in terms of his health. We so much enjoyed his wonderful photographs of the many trips that you took together. Our hope is that your wonderful memories of this very special man will be some consolation to you in your grief. We pray for strength for all of you as you face the difficult days ahead, and we extend to you our very deepest sympathies.

My condolences during this difficult time. I knew Randy from my days at TMML. Randy's smile and positive outlook on life had a positive impact on my time at TMML and a very positive impact on his co-workers that knew Randy for much longer than I. When you encounter a positive individual in your life, you seldom forget that encounter. Randy had that positive impact on me. Randy will be missed.
