Dear Joseph, Liz, Mary and Family, I was so sad to hear of the passing of Maria and I am sorry for your tremendous loss. Thank you so much Liz for calling me and do not regret not calling sooner. It was my pleasure getting to know your mother on so many levels and I will never forget her. Our Thursday visits were a highlight of my week. Maria proudly shared fascinating stories about her life in Canada and her Italian heritage. We giggled a lot. She dearly loved all of you and shared her strong faith. She was a lady. Her eyes sparkled when she told her stories and I could sense such strength and selflessness despite her limitations. I will miss her. Love, Nancy
