Obituary of Laura Plumley

Laura passed away at home of natural causes on January 8, 2015 at the age of 98, surrounded by family members. She was born in Holstein, Iowa on March 29, 1916 to Joseph and Cora Stone. She moved to Corvallis, Oregon in her early adulthood where she worked and raised seven children. She married Yewell Plumley, the love of her life, in March 1975. He preceded her in death in 2003. She is survived by 7 children, Jan, Dorothy, Terri, Gaylord, Martha, Sharon, Louise and 3 step-children, Leo, Lola and Lonnie, 18 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be January 16, 2015 at Musgrove Mortuary, 1152 Olive, Eugene from 9am-10:30am; Service begins at 11am, www.musgroves.com. Memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association.
