Memories of Aunt Doris and our summers past as children are rushing to the surface, she was a powerhouse of strength and integrity. Her family adored and respected her as she did them. we learned at a very young age how strong a woman could be. I thank her and will cherish my memories always. Love Jackie

Gordon and family. I am sad to hear of your loss. I'm not good with the words that it takes at a time like this. Know this, that my thoughts are with you all and my father ( Sid ) thought very highly of your mother. I'm sure that if he was still with us he would have the words that would make you feel stronger for being just who you are and for having the privlage of being such a great part of your moms life..

Canon Robin Lyons - All Saints' Waterloo posted a condolence
Our memories of Doris include her faithful service as a member of our Chancel Guild here at All Saints' Anglican Church, Waterloo. We give God thanks for her ministry in that capacity, as well as for the love Doris has shared with her family and friends. That love will continue, and we pray that in that love you all will know the presence and comfort of Jesus Christ. May God grant you comfort and peace.

Joan Danbrook posted a condolence
Dear Elton and family It was with great sadness that I read of Doris's death. I had such a great respect for her and enjoyed working with her at the then KW Hospital. Doris always had a gentle, kind supportive nature about her making it so easy if struggling with a new experience to ask for her help. I often told her she should have been a teacher as she engaged others with her wit and charm often making work seem like a day at the park. You will miss her greatly but I trust knowing how very much she was respected and enjoyed as a working peer will be at least of some comfort. May her wonderful nature and easy ways be a insperation to us all. With much love today, tomorrow and always Joan Danbrook and family

Dear Elton, Val, Gord, Vic, Glen, Kenny Although time has passed, the memories of your family remain fresh and alive in my heart. Some of the happiest moments were shared between your family and myself. Doris was such a wonderful and understanding mother and was there when ever I needed her as were all of you. I loved you like my own family. How shocked and heart broken I am to learn of Doris's passing. I truly wish that I had known sooner and most definately would have taken the trip to London. My deepest sympathy is extended to you Elton and to all of your family. Please call me at 289-668-1093 or 905-788-0874. With Love, Carolanne (Cleary) Pychel
