Obituary of Elaine Louise Donaldson

Peacefully at University Hospital, London, on Thursday, January 13, 2011. Elaine Louise (Delmege) Donaldson of Arva, in her 79th year. Beloved Wife of the late Wilmer Donaldson (Jan. 10, 2001). Loving Mother of Dave (Karen) Donaldson of Arva and Dale (Marianne) Donaldson of Ilderton. Devoted Grandmother of Stephen (Amy) Donaldson, Jamie Donaldson, both of Arva; Janet Donaldson (Tigh) of Mississauga and Dianne, Sarah and Michelle Donaldson, all of Ilderton. Cherished Great-Grandmother of Colby and Laine Donaldson. Elaine will be sadly missed by Brother Murray Delmege of Kingsville and Nieces Louise Delmege (Brian), Margaret Delmege (Nathan), all of Sudbury; and Elizabeth Delmege (Dan) of Kingsville. Also sadly missed by Olive Donaldson of Arva, June (Derek) Patton of Cambridge, Betty (Bob) McCully and Nephew Paul McCully all of Chatham. She will also be missed by her many close friends and neighbours. Predeceased by parents, Joanna Grace (McCully) Delmege (1990) and Ross Ingram Delmege (1999), and sister-in-law Patricia Anne (Thompson) Delmege (2010). Sincere thanks to Dr. L. Brubacher, Dr. A.R. Meredith and the sixth floor Palliative Care Staff of University Hospital. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, where the funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, January 17th, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Marilyn Carter officiating.
