Obituary of David Ehrich

Loving Husband, Father, and grandfather, died peacefully on January 14, 2015 surrounded by his wife and children after a hard fought battle with a rare form of thyroid cancer. He was 58 years old, and was born October 1, 1956 in Cottage Grove, Oregon to Carl and Jeanette Ehrich. He married his high school sweetheart Linda Wolford on January 28, 1978 and is survived by her and their two children, Cheryl Flick of Halsey, Oregon, and Nathan Ehrich of LaPine, Oregon. Also a granddaughter Debra Flick. He has one sister and three brothers. Deborah Cuddeback of Creswell, Oregon, Donald Ehrich of Creswell, Oregon, Dwaine Ehrich of Union Washington, and Dale Ehrich of Arizona. Dave is also survived by his mother Jeanette Bradley of Springfield, Oregon and many nieces and nephews.Dave was a graduate of Creswell High School in 1974 and afterward enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserves (combat engineer unit). He earned an associates degree in applied science at Lane Community College, and was a hydro electric operator/electrician for Eugene Water and Electric Board, Carmen Smith, Leaburg/Walterville projects.He loved his wife, children, granddaughter, and the great outdoors, and was passionate about hiking, camping, rock hounding, and bow hunting.
