I am very saddened about the Passing of Vic. I was Vic's tenant at his house from 2000-2002. We had so much in common, especially the art of Djing. He would tell me stories about the early days of his work. He also had a unique sense of humor. He would make me laugh with funny catch phrases. After I moved out, we kept in touch with many visits to Tim Horton's. I got to meet his friends over the years and really cherish those moments. Vic would help out when needed as well. I'm going to miss him. My sincerest condolences to Kevin and his entire family. He's in a great place now and free of pain. I know he touched many lives. Raz

To Lisa (Dan), Kevin, Alexandra and everyone who knew Victor I wish there was something I could say or do to take away all your pain and sorrow. I pray that you will find solace upon reflection of the following quote Life is eternal, and love is immortal, and death is only a horizon; and a horizon is nothing save the limit of our sight. ~Rossiter Worthington Raymond I take comfort in the realization that even though 'I can't see' loved ones, they are still there - I just haven't traveled far enough along in the journey. You're in our thoughts and prayers Darlene, Mark, Stefanie and Scott xxxx0000

I cannot begin to express the amount of sorrow and loss that Vic's passing has brought to those he so quickly left behind as he was called to return home. I knew Vic from when he and I worked together at PRS. Vic was always very approachable and lovable. His kind smile, loving words and kind words were always an inspiration. I can't forget to mention the odd joke that was shared between us to include Vic's reference to my "Frankenstein Sandles" and my return comment of "Mr. Burn's". He truly made me smile and made me feel appreciated. Vic frequently spoke of his family and his love for each person, so much so that I feel I know everyone, without even meeting. Those who had the opportunity to meet Vic and get to know him are truly blessed. Although he was an Angel on earth, he was asked to return to do work in heaven. His return came to soon but Heaven needed their Angel. May Vic look down from the heavens upon those he left behind and guide us through our grief and sorrow. May he continue to touch our hearts and continue to inspire us to love. My condolences to friends and family who lost their father, brother, grandfather or friend. May we continue to smile as we reflect on our experiences and laughter that we shared with Victor. And may Victor be with us as we continue to laugh and love. God Bless Brent "Dj Styles" Arseneault- Friend

I was very shocked to learn of Vic passing from Raz(Nuzio Raso). Victor and i knew each other since the early 80's when I was first starting to DJ and I puchased my first pro turntables from Vic. From that first meeting we became friends then in the 90's associates when Victor came to work for me at PRS. He had a very unique sense of humour which myself and my customers and other employees came to appreciate along with his many "favorite ancedotes" on life. I know he was very proud of Kevin and Lisa and he spoke to me often about their lives and the sadness of losing Christopher at such a young age. I know he cared very deeply about the welfare of his familyand shared in their sucesses. Vic had many plans for the future and we spoke to each other often about how his plans were "coming along".Vic was not the kind of guy to bother people with his problems but would do whatever he could to helpyou solve yours. I admired that quality and honesty about him as its a rare combination nowadays. I will truly miss our conversations and will miss him as a friend.

Dear Lisa and Kevin One's legacy is carried on through the ones we leave behind. Kevin, through 15 years of friendship, I have only known you to honor, love, respect and care for your dad. This is a testament to the man he was. He shone whenever you were around. There is no greater legacy to leave behind than the unconditional love of your children who have grown into good people. Although you were unable to say goodbye, he knew your love to him. My favorite memory of your dad, is one night he was dog sitting for us while we went to a movie. When we returned both your dad and Hayden were no where to be found. After tipping open the bedroom door, we saw the two of them snuggled up together, Hayden on the pillow beside him, asleep. Your dad was kind hearted and I can only hope you can find strength and comfort in all the memories you have together. With deepest sympathy

Kevin and Lisa, My heart goes out to you and your family. Vic was a great friend , I'll always remember our talks on society. He always spoke highly of his children. Kevin always know how special you were to him, as he would make sure he was home for your phone calls to him. He surely never wanted to miss one. Lisa, he sure saw your potential. I'm happy that Vic let Jesus into his heart, and he's at peace now with Christopher by his side welcoming him home. Love from Amy King

I am so sorry for your loss. May "the God of all comfort" (2 Corinthians 1:3,4) comfort and soothe your heart. His promises, found in the Holy Scriptures, can offer much hope. It assures us at John 5:28,29 that our loved ones will be remembered and brought back to life in the resurrection. Please allow God's Word to strengthen you and help you to endure this most difficult time.

Dear Lisa & Kevin, I met your father in 1995 or 1996 when he was in the Detroit area. We started chatting in a bookstore when he saw me holding a Canadian magazine. I had recently interned at the Canadian Parliament. We got to be good friends and kept in touch for several years, although the distance between London and Detroit was a barrier. Victor was a wonderful person. I had been trying to find him on the internet several times and just saw the obituary this morning. I am so very, very sorry. He was way too young. My favorite thoughts of Vic are the wonderful music mixes he made for me and going through his fantastic collection of vinyl and blasting movies on his gigantic TV system. He took me to see the Black Donnellys grave and took a photo of us which he put into the book on them as a gift to me . If you want a copy I will get the book and scan you one (send a note to nancybortz@comcast.net). Lisa, I met you one time at your dad's house around Christmas time many years ago. Kevin, I believe you were taking some diving classes at the time. He was so proud of both of you. My deepest sympathy to you and your family and to the many friends who will miss him. Sincerely, Nancy Bortz Lisle, Illinois
