Obituary of Carla Westrope

Carla Joan Westrope of Creswell passed away January 28, 2015. Born in Eugene, Oregon, September 25, 1941, Carla lived more than 60 years in the town she loved, Creswell.Carla was married to Mike Westrope who preceded her in death after 26 years of marriage.Her passion in life was her love and dedication to her family. She enjoyed socializing with her friends, waiters, sales people, babies and complete strangers in line at the grocery store, not to mention random people in Bi-Mart.Carla spent much of her year gardening and canning when she wasn’t feeding her welfare birds. She also looked forward to an afternoon of playing cards; exuberant in victory and animated in defeat.She is survived by her loving family; Storm, Tabitha, Tracy, Chuck, Gary Sr., Gary Jr., Cheryl, Neal, one beautiful granddaughter and four handsome grandsons. Carla was loved by many. She was the mother of two, but “Mom” to many more.A Memorial Service will be held at the Presbyterian Church in Creswell, 75 S 4th Street, on Saturday, February 7, 2015 at 1:00 PM.Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
