Obituary of Wendell Gray

A memorial service & reception will be 3pm on Sunday, February 8th at Twin Oaks Christian Church. Wendell W Gray of Eugene, died January 24 at the age of 74.He was born November 5th, 1940 in Eugene, OR to Carlton and Mary Gray. He married Karen Smith, September 21, 1969 in Reno, Nevada.He was a veteran who worked in the family business, Grays Feed & Seed, for many years before owning and operating Wendell’s Garden Center.He enjoyed dancing, hunting, fishing, volunteering as a firefighter, mentoring with SCORE and surrounding himself with fun and exciting people.Survivors include, his sister, Judy Gray Haines of Eugene, brother Tim Gray of Eugene, son Kevin Gray of Eugene, son Kurt Gray of Eugene, daughter Teresa Gray Messier of Eden Prairie, MN and 5 grandchildren.Memorial contributions can be made in Wendell's name to Twin Oaks Christian Church.Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
