Obituary of Marion Doyle

Marion Doyle, most recently of Eugene, Oregon, died February 12, 2015 of age-related causes. She was 99. She was born in 1915 in Turley, Oklahoma to Arch D. and Anna E. Wilson. She married Edward J. Doyle in Washington, D.C. on June 19, 1937. They were married 67 years. Ed died in 2003.Marion worked for the federal government in D.C. before World War II under Dwight D. Eisenhower, who she said was the best boss she ever had. She later graduated from the University of Hawaii in 1961, and worked for the Army Corps of Engineers as an economist in San Francisco, CA. She enjoyed quilting, card games and dominoes all her life.Survivors include daughters gael Doyle-Oroyan and Jana Hollenbeck of Eugene, OR., four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.Arrangements entrusted to Musgrove Family Mortuary.
