It was with much sadness that we received the news George had passed away. Gail and I retired from GM and moved to Nova Scotia and heard of his passing through friends in London. Both of us had the pleasure of working with him and had a great deal of respect for him. Please accept our sincere condolences. We as many others will miss him.

It came as quite a shock to read about George in the paper this morning. After seeing you and Colin in the store last week,I thought George was getting better. I'm saddend to realize that I won't be seeing Georges infectious smile anymore, and his teasing I so looked forward to whenever you came into the store. Mom and John always counted George and you as good friends and I will miss him as well. Call me to help out any way I can because I'm so close. Our world is a little darker without George to light it up.

Dear Annice and Colin, please accept my sincere condolences. I learned much from George in the years that we worked together at GM Diesel, from the time he hired me in 1977 through the to the build of the Union Pacific locomotives in the 1990s.
