Obituary of Susie Hohenlohe
Susi Helena Hohenlohe, 56, of Eugene passed away from cancer on Wednesday, February 11, 2015, at River Bend hospital. She was born December 22, 1958, in Los Angeles, the daughter of Vilmos and the late Elizabeth Zsigmond of Hungary.Susi graduated from Lane Community College in Eugene, Oregon with the class of ‘94. In October of ‘94, Susi started working for Neste Resins (now Arclin Resins) as a lab technician. During her 15-year-career at Neste Resins she earned several promotions. She was a hard worker, beloved and respected by her colleagues.Susi loved photography, nature, critters, her job, family, friends and was blessed with intelligence, insight, generosity, persistence, a great work ethic, talent, spirit, love and compassion. She was an artist and craft person who loved her flower and vegetable garden. She touched the heart of everyone she met and possessed an incredible sense of humor. Susi was also a great chef who loved to share her recipes with friends and family. She would host events and parties for her friends and was very skilled at organization. She will be missed greatly as she was a wonderful and loving person.She is survived by her two sons, Maxwell Albrecht Hohenlohe-Langenburg and Alexander Arthur Hohenlohe-Langenburg, her father, Vilmos Zsigmond, her fiancé, Dewayne Bowlin and her sister Julia Zsigmond Keller. Susi was a great mother to her children, Maxwell and Alexander, striving to make their lives rich, filled with humor, love and wisdom.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 12:15 PM, St. Mary Catholic Church, Eugene, Oregon. A reception will be held after the service. Susi’s family will be there to greet relatives and friends.
