Ross was a long time member of the Rotary Club of London (joined in 1969). He brought with him his professional business acumen so evident in his distinguishes business career. He was especially active in fund raising matters and known for his devotion to members of the disabled children's "case load" to which he contributed much time and resources. Ross was a faithful adherent to the notion of high ethical standards in business and "service above self" in his business, family and acquaintance communities. He was an example to all and a mentor and role model for many!

Thinking of all of our Imrie family at this sad time. I will always fondly reflect back to the Christmas' and holidays that we all spent together when I was a child! Will miss both our Imrie Grandparents. Happy that they are both together and at peace. Love, Mike and family

We are thinking of the Imries and their extended families during their time of grief. I remember summer sleepovers on Lawson Road and getting up early in the morning to go swimming with Grandpa. He would do lap after lap, and I would try to keep up. We would have a race at the end of his session, many of which he would let me win. Take solace knowing he is with Grandma and Sandra. With love, Cheryl and Family.

I have very fond memories of Ross as our paths crossed in the year just prior to his retirement from Lawson & Jones. I can picture him vividly on the first day we met; he extended his hand and said, here take this pen, its for you, nice to meet you. The personal touch he called it. I'm grateful for the wise counsel and support you gave to me. Vicki and I offer our sympathies and condolences to the Emrie family.

My thoughts are with the entire family through this time. I have such fond memories of Grandad one of which was him swearing he took a bullet through his two front teeth (I'm sure just to make me feel better about my yet to grow adult front teeth at that age). I will always have such memories of what a great Man, Husband, Father and Grandfather you were. Love always, Meredith (Murphy) & Andrew

Mary Ann Lawton - Roto Static Carpet Cleaning posted a condolence
My deepest condolences to the Imrie Family. Mr. & Mrs. Imrie were great customers of mine since 1982 when I started with Roto Static. I always enjoyed my time with them. It was more about catching up and having coffee than getting the carpets clean! I know Mr. Imrie will be at peace now he is with Janet and Sandra. The last time I visited him at home he missed them deeply. I will never forget them and appreciated knowing such great people. God Bless you Mr. Imrie. Rest in peace.

John Warrener posted a condolence
I have fond memories of childhood visits to the Imrie home and various summer cottages. My father Lowrie Warrener worked for your dad at Eagle Pencil. Their working relationship blossomed into a friendship between both our families. One summer, 1956 or 1957, your father endeared himself to me forever when he yanked me from the waters of Lake Rosseau (Lake Joseph?), by the hair, after I had jumped in a little too enthusiastically. I was 8 or 9 years old. I only wish I'd had a chance to thank him as an adult. My condolences to all of you on his passing.
