Obituary of Demeke Abate

ABATE, Demeke - Passed away peacefully on October 24th, 2010, at Victoria Hospital in his 72nd year. Loving husband of Zaid MebrahtuTesfaghabr. Cherished father of Kirubel, Surafel, Fanuel, Berhanu and Tsion Demeke Abate. Dearly loved and missed by Aster Reedy, Elizabeth Carkett, Almaz Tesfamichael Haile, and all his grandchildren. Fondly remembered by his brothers Berhanu, Tilahun, Abebe, Eshetu, Beneberu Abate and Tesfaye Nigatu, and all his family and friends in Canada and in Ethiopia. A funeral service will be held at the Ethiopian Orthodox Church, 430 Elizabeth Street, London, ON, on Thursday, October 28, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
