Dear Mary: I'm going to miss you like crazy but I'm so glad you are no longer in pain. I hope heaven is prepared for your arrival -once you are reunited with your family members (Mom, Dad, brother, aunt) and of course Paul - I'm sure we'll see a sign on earth. I have so many memories of our journey that I'll cherish forever but the ones that hold a very special place in my heart are at the cottage with the "old" YZR (Sarnia) girls at the campfire after way tooooo many drinks when sue Lajoie fell into the fire and all we could do is laugh about Sue-Kabobs - Sue included - We eventually remembered to do first aid - well someone did! The other memory that is special to me is with Ted Scafe, Tony Robbins (husband at the time) you & I in Windsor on an overnight - we went to Red Lobster and had a Wonderful night, with a Chinese van driver - who said the restaurant was a Wheely, wong way away, We didn't care as we were half in the bag and replied - that's ok we're with Mary Wheeler! everything seemed to go from there with the "W" words - later that evening I conceived our son Keegan. The funniest memory I can share is singing Kareoke with you at Jimmy G's one night - Motown of course, Diana Ross, (our fave) and because I couldn't sing a note if I had to, I agreed to be back-up - we laughed so hard - Shortly before you passed - I was telling others about that night & you definately made a noise to indicate You remembered too! I love you & will remember you forever - Rest in Peace - you deserve it - you fought a long, courageous battle. Love forever, your friend, Linda xo

Miss Mary; You proved to me that angels earn their wings on earth before they are granted entrance to heaven. You were an amazing spirit and good friend to all who knew you. Your indominable will to live and laugh ( and raise a toast of red wine!) showed great character in the face of inevitable foe. You always had a smile for new friends and laughter for old ones. God speed Mary. We will ever remember you. Salute! xo xo

Mary, you made those around you feel happy when they heared your laughter and saw your smile. When I spoke to you last you had nothing but positive words and I could hear the smile in your voice. I am lucky to have known you Mary, God has big plans for beautiful people like you.

Mary was a special lady - an inspiration to all of us! Final Flight (for Mary) For all those years, when you took off to fly across the sky, you knew your destination – where you'd rest your feet at night. The flights were busy – serving, helping, apologizing...coping. Your constant smile and love of fun made problems turn out right. Now you're the pampered passenger ready on board to go where this new flight is taking you, from darkness toward the light. Your travel plan's unscheduled – a challenge and a dare, and you are free to face it with courage and no fright. Through our tears, we bravely smile, as departure time's announced, sadly wave, "Farewell, adieu," for this, your final flight. Jan Stewart Oct,2010

Dear Mary. You will be greatly missed here on earth, but I know that heaven is having one great party, with plenty of red wine for all. Today, Friday Oct. 15, 2010, inmy home, on the shore of Lake Huron, you proved to me that you are in a great place. As I was preparing for my day, sitting quietly in prayer asking God to give your family the strength and courage to move on, I was graced with the most spectacular site. The rain came out of nowhere from the west and from the east the sun was shinning brightly. On the horizon of Lake Huron, you painted two beautiful rainbows to let me know that you are where you want to be. The one represented you and the other Paul. You so loved the lake and all its beauty. I want your family to know that you spoke to me so that I could pass your message along to them. You love them very much and you will prepare a place for them in heaven. In the meantime, enjoy every moment that you have on earth. May God bless you. You are loved. Susan Lajoie Sarnia Ontario

Mary I am so sad. I have searched for you on facebook and all over for years since we lost touch. And now I find you and find it is too late. What fun we had at the Bend, stealing big dougs vet and teasing wee Doug. God bless Joan she put up with us all. To her children I am an old dear friend and will forever remember your mother as a funny, kind, silly girl who I shared my young life with. What a loss. I will never forget the fun we had and all the things we shared.
