Obituary of Jozef Gomboc

GOMBOC, Jozef - After a fierce and courageous battle, Jozef of London, in his 79th year passed away at Victoria Hospital on Saturday, October 9th, 2010. Dearest husband of Ivanka (suddenly predeceased May 27, 2010). Cherished father of Brian of Cobourg & Jozica of London. Dedicated grandfather of Sandie Zerdin and proud great grandfather of Baby Boy (due December 22, 2010) of London and Joey Zerdin of Vancouver. Jozef is survived by in-laws and friends in London and Slovenia. Predeceased by parents both of Slovenia. Retiree of the University of Western Ontario. Heartfelt thanks to all the doctors and palliative nurses at Victoria Hospital who provided compassionate care. Visitation will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Tuesday from 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, October 13, 2010 at 1:00 pm. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
