Obituary of Kyle Nissen
Kyle Jan Nissen,19-Oct 23,1995 - 06 Apr 2015 Ogden, Utah Kyle was born in Modesto California 19 years ago. He was always a questioner of things, an adventurer, and a mischief maker. When he was 3, we asked him why he was climbing up onto the washing machine. He said "So I can get on top of the fridge". When asked why he wanted to get on the fridge, he said "So I can jump thru the doorway onto the couch". This set the tone for the next 16 years. Before he was 6, he lived in Texas and Washington before staying in California for the next 6 years. He made many friends during this time and he would spend 90% of his summers swimming wherever he could. In 2007, Kyle started a new chapter of his life in Utah. He graduated from Fremont High School at the age of 17. If you ever needed to find him, you only needed to look at the mountains, rivers or anywhere else exciting. He loved to spend time with all of his friends, sisters, cousins and family. He had a heart too big for this world, and wherever he is, we know he is with family waiting for us with a big smile. Everyone that knows him, loves him and will miss him dearly. Kyle is survived by his Mother and Stepfather, Bobbi and Mike Long; Father, Brendan Nissen; Sisters Shelbi Rivera (24) and Breanna Nissen (14); Stepbrother Jairik Long (6); Grandparents, Marlon and Ed Krampert, James Nissen, Terry and Debbie Brown. He had many uncles, aunts, cousins, and family and friends, and he loved them all. A small memorial service was held on April 9th at Musgrove Family Mortuary in Eugene, Oregon. A service will be held in Utah once he returns home. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated. All of the proceeds will go to a college fund for his little sister, Breanna. These can be made at any America First Credit Union in the care of the father, Brendan Nissen.
