I have enjoyed Gordon's friendship for nearly 30 years since the early eighties at Greenhills Golf G.C. where we regularly conversed on any number of topics . His candor , his unique sense of humour , his personal integrity and his love of golf will always be appreciated . My early Sat-Sun games will not be the same .

I am so sorry forry for your loss. Gordy and and I go way back with the Ministry of Finance, and of course golf, and he never forgot to get in touch at Christmas..Hard to believe , don't even want to believe.. I first met Gord when I came to work at Greenhills; he gave me my on site training as starter and marshal and was a favourite resource and co-worker ever since. I'll miss our chats and his advice on my golf game. My wife and I wish to express our condolences to Gord's family and friends. He will be missed.

Please accept my condolences on your Dad's passing. I will miss him on Sunday mornings and particularly for his clarification of the Rules of Golf, it seemed nothing could stump him. I also loved his stories of Northern Ireland.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Gord's passing. I met Gord at a GAO event and worked with him at many over the last five years. He was really a mentor to me as I worked to gain experience and become qualified as a Rules Official. We often chatted on the phone and he would tell stories from his vast experience showing a fantastic memory. My sincere sympathy to his family at this difficult time. I will miss him but will remember his kindness and friendship.
