Obituary of Ann Riddell

RIDDELL, Ann - Peacefully, on Thursday, August 26, 2010 at University Hospital, London, ON in her 80th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Bill Riddell (Queens Mining 1950). Loving mother of Helen (Scott MacKay), Ewen Riddell and Bruce Riddell and grandmother of eight. Dear sister-in-law of Marny Riddell and Betty (Ed) Clarke. Ann was born in New York State, raised in Montreal, married and settled in Toronto and later retired to Port Hope and then London, ON. She was involved with the Eastern Star in Shawville, QC; and W.A.M.I.C in Toronto; Air Cadets in Port Hope, A.C.O of Port Hope and London; and also Women's PROBUS of London. A warm thank you to Ann's friends and staff at Mount Hope and University Hospital for their dedication over the past year. She will be dearly missed by family and friends near and far. Funeral service will be held at Oakridge Presbyterian Church, 970 Oxford Street West, London, on Monday, August 30, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ann are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
