Obituary of Charles Small McLeod

MCLEOD, Charles - Peacefully at the Dearness Home on Wednesday, August 25th, 2010, Mr. Charles Small "Charlie" McLeod of London in his 90th year. Loving and devoted husband of Mrs. M. Mary (Foote-Doherty) McLeod. Beloved father of Heather Oliver of Dundas, Robert McLeod (Louise Martin) and Don McLeod of London and Barbara McLeod of Toronto. Fondly remembered by Don Oliver. Also cherished by his two grandchildren David (Liz) Oliver and Susan Oliver (Lou Astri) and great-granddaughter Meredith. Charlie was a WWII Veteran and a long time employee of Bell Canada. Visitation will be held at the Westview Funeral Chapel, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Monday from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the funeral service being conducted in the chapel on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. The Duchess of Kent Legion will conduct a service on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. A Masonic Service will be held under the auspices of St. Paul's Lodge, No. 107 A.F. & A.M., on Tuesday at 12 noon. Interment, St. John's Cemetery, Arva. Those wishing to make a donation in memory are asked to consider the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Ontario or the Parkinson Society of Canada.
