Obituary of Michael P. Boerner

Michael P. Boerner (age 76) on April 24, 2012, of Bethesda, MD in his home, attended by his family. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Dorothy Payne Boerner, a son, Philip Scott Boerner of Sacramento, CA, and daughters, Anne Boerner of Portland, OR, Katharine Boerner of Bethesda, MD, and Susan Boerner of Calverton, MD, three grandchildren, and a brother and two sisters. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 12, at 11:00 a.m. at Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church, One Chevy Chase Circle, Washington, D.C. 20015. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Montgomery Parks Foundation, 9500 Brunett Avenue, Silver Spring, MD 20901, for a memorial bench on the Capital Crescent Trail.
