Obituary of James Kennedy Balfour

BALFOUR, James Kennedy - Went into the presence of His Lord at University Hospital, on August 4th, 2010 in his 91st year. Survived by his wife Ann Hillman Balfour of 22 years. Predeceased by his first wife Cathie Richardson Balfour (1984). Loving father of Kathleen (Reed) Wortman of Cambridge and Ruth (Larry) Mills of London. Dear grandfather of Lisa (Graeme) Christy of Cambridge and Melissa Mills of London. Great-grandpa of Trent, Trevor and Nathan Christy of Cambridge. Dear brother of Elspeth (Sydney) Smith of Georgetown and Alexa Alexander (late Ron) of Edinburgh, Scotland. Predeceased by his grandson Scott Wortman (1988). Close friend and stepfather to Brent Hillman, Bob (Nancy) Hillman and Ruth Ann (Jim) Reid, and step-grandfather to Jamie, Karen, Matthew and Geniel Hillman, Barrett Reid (Rebecca) and their children. Visitation will be held at the WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, on Sunday from 7:00-9:00 p.m. as well as one hour prior to the funeral service being conducted at the London Gospel Temple, 288 Commissioners Road West, on Monday, August 9th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Rev.
