Our condolences go out to the entire Davis Family at this time of loss, Joel was an old friend and a good friend. We went back 30 years, some of my best early BMX memories were of Joel, Chris, Wayne, Freddy, Shawn, and the rest of our gang having fun of our bikes. I'll always have those memories of "Aces High" the best damn BMX Team in Ontario! Stay Close, Stay Strong Davis Family our thoughts are with you.

My Condolences to Joel's entire family. I knew Joel initially through BMX, and later worked alongside him at Forsey's. He was always a great friend and a legend on the bike, I know he inspired you to just keep trying, nothing could ever stop him.On or off of the bike. Joel, you will be missed more than you will ever know, by all of the people that you've touched throughout your short life.

I recently heard the news about Joel and I am very saddened by his death. I met Joel when we where both patients at St. Joe's hospital. We quickly became friends and I enjoyed his company very much and I would visit him when I could. I didn't know Joel very long but I could tell he was a very good human being. Joel you will be missed. I will pray for you buddy.

I just learned of his passing and am truely saddened by this. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. I met him through a friend when I was looking for work and we hit it off. He was a great boss to me and taught me so many things, work wise and life wise. I always thought of him as my London dad. He will be remembered to me a strong and tough humanbeing. Cheers to the Silver Fox!

Joel was a big hit in the eighties at many events he came to the albe's events several times in warren Michigan and blew us all away I always remembered him as one of the original greats. I know he had hurt his wrist doing a hang five down a hill and that hurt his riding but I have always talked about how great he was. I am very sad to hear of his passing my condolences to his family. i just found this site..shockingly enough...!. Joey was my favorite Uncle ..Our bond was immeasurable...He was more like a brother too me than an uncle as my childhood years were spent primarily growing up with him and My Aunt Bonnie at my Beautiful Grandmas house :). His death has haunted me from the moment i found out. I now live on Vancouver Island and have for many years and Joey has always made a point of coming out in the most important times like when my sons were born ( too very seperate times )... I knew..when he died..:( instictively...We were close like that..Two peas in a pod ..would explain my inherent stubborness from him ..lol. He always had my back and i always said " Joey..I'm fine " He knew me too well and i was too proud to tell him otherwise. Not a day goes by that i do not think of him and remember him..How great of a BMXer he was and Forseys and how much growing up i looked up to him and wanted to be everywhere he was because he was super cool!!! He was.. and always will be my HERO!!! Joey...im sooooo sorry i wasen't there for you in your time of need and i wish more than anything i could have realized that you needed that. You were so proud that you NEVER would have admited it to anyone. Still haunts me and i miss you and love you sooo very much and am greatfull for your many lessons. Grandma is gone now too. There is an emptyness inside my heart that i have never felt before. I know in my heart that you and Grandma and Grandpa are all together now. All gone tooo very soon..Mabey for us all. You all are golden angels looking out for us your family..your blood. Forever Young..Forever Free ...My Uncle Joey ..XOXO
