Obituary of Ruth Smith

Peacefully at Chelsey Park Nursing Home on Wednesday, June 26th, 2013, Mrs. Ruth “Ilene” Smith, of London, in her 86th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Tom Smith. Beloved mother of Dan and his wife Brenda of London. Loving grandmother of Natalie Smith of Calgary, Alberta. Predeceased by her son Ken Smith, and by her siblings and their spouses: Eldon (Violet) Nelson, Marjorie (Bob) Walker, Ken (Doris) Nelson and Betty (Ted) Thomas. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at WESTVIEW FUNERAL CHAPEL, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Saturday, June 29th, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment at Mount Pleasant Cemetery at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in memory of Ilene are asked to consider the Kidney Foundation of Canada.
