Kathy, Julianna and Victoria Ortner posted a condolence
Dearest Auntie Martha our deepest condolences to you in the passing of Onkel Franzl. We send you our love and hugs and prayers. At every moment you were there to care and love him and hold his hand, and he was blessed to have you as you have been blessed to have such a loving and devoted husband. We will miss him dearly always. We will miss his welcoming and open arms, his laughter, his jokes and have learned from his many virtues. He has taught my girls and I to look on the brighter side of life, to work hard, to be proud of our heritage and in our family, and to carry on with grace, and to laugh at the sillies of every day life. I will miss the twinkle in his eyes and his hugs which meant to us comfort, home, family. It has been an honour for Victoria to have had Franzl as her Godfather and for both girls to say they knew Onkel Franzl closely, they loved him and were loved by him for many years. Love endures. He is now with his Lord and spiritually reuniting with his parents and family in Heaven. Perhaps he and my dad are toasting eine kleine glassl Wein together. Our hearts are heavy with sorrow; our memories are happy with Love. Our deepest sympathies to you Martha, we love you. Hugs, Kathy, Julianna, Victoria x0x0x0x

Dear Martha, Our deep and heartfelt sympathy is with you at this very sad time. May you take comfort in knowing that you were his guardian angel and wonderful care-giver in his time of illness. Franzl was a joy to know and be with. Some of our happiest memories were when you and Franzl came to visit, precious memories to treasure. Joe and Franzl had many lively conversations. They are both truly at peace now. Please take care Martha, you are very special to us, God bless. Love and hugs. Barbara and Paul

Dear Martha, Our deepest sympathy to you on the lose of someone so special. We will miss Franzl very much. He was such a big part of our lives. I met you and Franzl when I was very young and you are like family to us. We will miss Franzl's smile, wit and funny stories. You could always count on Franzl to give you a big hug when you saw him and I'm sure he will hug us when we see him again. We will always remember Franzl's kind heart and hospitality. Franzl would always offer you something to eat and a schtampel when you came to visit. Martha, Franzl was blessed to have you in his life. You were able to make his final days comfortable and now he is at peace with all his family and friends that have gone before him. With all our love, Henry, Paula, Matthew and Ashley.

Dear Martha, I send you my deepest sympathy at your loss of Franzl. He was like an Onkel to me and we always cherished every visit with him and yourself at the far, at your place and everywhere else. He had a great sense of humor and loved to share it with others and we where grateful. He made the hard challenges of life a little easier and faced the world and what it brought his way with dignity and grace. He took great pride in his work and his principals. My Dad will have been there in heaven to welcome him now with open arms a big handshake and smile , and Franzl would say - Gruess dich Pepi bist a schoen da They got alone great and enjoyed each others company, good wine and stories of Steiermark and Austria, wine-making and cars. Franzl made all our gathering special and I will my him and my Dad immensely , it seems much of the older generation is moving on and that time is going so quickly - the day will come when they will joyfully welcome us to the next world. That doesnt make it any easier now though. We have our memories - re-enforced with our pictures and film and shared memories of family and friends. I am grateful for his generous hospitality , friendship and support he always gave me, I will miss his smile humor and his kind words. I wish I would have seen more of him, but I treasure every memory. May God comfort you now Martha at this sad time and know that you have the support and prayers of family and friends. Franzl was fortunate to have your love and care especially in the last period of his life. He is now with God and Family that has gone before him. To Franzl I would say it was an honor to have him in our lives. love Paul

Liebe Tante Martha!
